After successful collaborations with industry leaders in furniture, sanitary products, and home goods, Zieny took on a new challenge from De Wit Hekwerken. They faced a common issue: customers found it difficult to visualize how an entrance gate, decorative gate, or swing gate would look on their property. And that makes sense—installing a gate is a significant investment. To convince customers, De Wit needed more than just photos. That’s where the Zieny tool comes in!
With AR and 3D, De Wit can now effortlessly showcase their gates. When visiting potential clients, they bring an iPad and instantly show how the gate would look in the customer’s front yard. It’s a game-changer! In the past, customers had to visit a showroom to see different gate styles, but they were always left wondering: How will this look in my own yard? Thanks to Zieny’s AR and 3D software, that problem is solved. Customers can now see the gate in real-time, at the correct size and color, without needing to use a complicated 3D configurator.
The partnership between Zieny and De Wit has been a great success. We were even invited to visit and shoot a video together to showcase this cutting-edge tool. The video quickly went viral on social media, with viewers recognizing the huge value of using AR to choose the perfect decorative gate for their home. While Zieny primarily works with e-commerce stores, this project was an exciting challenge. Many businesses assume that AR or a 3D configurator is difficult to integrate into their website. But Zieny’s software seamlessly connects with platforms like WordPress, Magento, Shopify, and Lightspeed. Even De Wit was amazed—adding AR and 3D took just 10 minutes!
